Apsov manages all the activities as a fully integrated company in seed Industry: from breeding, to seed production in the two seed facilities located in Voghera and Grosseto (Tuscany), ending with full logistic service, and technical post sales support to customers.
INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
Over the recent years Apsov business significantly grew also through acquisition of shares of other companies.
Part of APSOV group, GMAX SEEDS was settled in 2017, with the aim of introducing and licensing soybean varieties in Europe, sourcing genetics from one of the world's most important breeding programs.
In 2023, the first foreign subsidiary, APSOV Seme doo, was established in Serbia. Over the same year APSOV entered the capital of the Spanish company HIBRISOL, specialized in sunflower breeding. In addition, Apsov purchased 100% of Sementi Maremma srl, thus becoming the sole owner of the seed plant in Tuscany.
Supply chains
We work in collaboration with agri-food companies, through agreements aimed at establishing relationships and optimizing the use of our products, with the goal of improving the efficiency, quality and competitiveness of our strategic partners.
Technical support
We stand out for providing after-sales support directly in the field. At the request of farmers through their distributor, our technicians and our sales team carry out targeted inspections to monitor the state of crops and offer tailored made support.
Production
We collaborate with a network of loyal seed producers in different areas of Italy that allow us to produce more than 20 species per year, including wheat on about 6,000 ha and soybeans for 3,000 ha. We have 3 modern multi-crop cleaning lines, one of which was built in 2023 and designed specifically to produce for the high-quality soybean seeds, with a daily capacity of over 400 tons. A cleaning line for small seeds such as alfalfa and clover completes the production capacity. Our cereal seeds are packaged in innovative rodent-proof packaging that guarantees a better conservation.

History
APSOV was established in 1967 by a group of visionary farmers, the cooperative A.P.S.O.V. (Associazione Produttori Sementi Oltrepò Vogherese) aimed to harness their region's potential by producing and marketing high-quality seeds to propel agriculture forward. Over the years, APSOV has consistently championed innovation and growth, becoming a leader in genetic improvement and seed production.
